Right now Apple is killing Sony with downloadable content for the iPod. The PSP 2.0 will supposedly be more "iPod-like" with a built-in drive and such, I just don't know if Sony will be able to catch up.

i don't like the idea... psp should be for gaming, not a multimedia deivce. but i suppose that's what it has become. i really think it should develop more of it's own style, and not rip off apple. a smaller psp would be much better though!

I use my iPod alot to download shows like Battlestar Galactica, but the tiny screen really sucks. If Sony had a similiar service to download content, games, movies etc I'd be all over it in a second.

Actually I think Apple ripped off the Sony because the video ipod came out several months after the PSP. The only reason Apple is ahead is they had room to run with the pod casts because of the size of there storage. As for tv shows I just convert them into mp4 an put them on my 2gb I can fit up to 6 hour long episodes.

As for sony catching up well we'll see when the PS3 comes out since it will act as a location free server more people will have access to streaming content.
