Everyone that has a PSP blog should check your shoutbox. There has been a lot of spamming going down. Especially you, Gnomey. The spammers really went to town on your shoutbox. Nothing but links.
Just thought everyone should know.

Thanks for the heads up. Everyone should have their shoutbox set to "registered" for comments.

From what I can see, you can set that comments be made by only registered users, but not the shoutbox.

Setting the "Blog Accessibility:" option to registered users will do the trick.

That or doing away with the shoutbox altogether. If people want to comment on the blog, they can always register and post a comment.

I took off the main site shoutbox due to lack of use, but what TheDragon means are the blog shoutboxes. I'm still on the fence on the blog feature - is it something you guys think you will use on a regular basis? Nice to have?

I think the blog thing is kind of a neat idea, but the general internet populous already have 15 blogs that they maintain and would have trouble maintaining another one.

I can't think of anything specifically that would make the site better. I've always liked this site the way it was, and I came here semi-religiously to check the latest headlines. When it changed to a forum site, I was a bit shocked, but I still really like the community.

It's just up to the community to capture the news and post it here now. And I think I like that. It really opens the topics up for discussion.

In short, I honestly can't think of anything I'd change.

I have only one suggestion. I don't much care for blogs, but I think it'd be neat if PSP Garden had a main page with opinion articles posted there, and then you could access the forums through a sidebar link, you could list the games page there as well. Also im not sure if there is one but I'd like to be able to view a list of all accounts, see who's coming out and supporting the team lol and what names have been chosen. A link on the sidebar for that'd be neat too.

I'll willingly design it and do the art if someone else throws it all together, it'd also be a great place for the comic if I manage to do one.

The blogs can be done away with, It was a cool idea but just not used much here. I would like to see more things to buy in the Fantacy shops(my points are burnin a virtual hole in my digital pocket), maybe a general chat thread for non PSP posting.

All suggestions noted and added to the list of things to do. I've already changed the forums up a bit to encourage general chat, and I consolidated the PSP News and Chat sections since they were the same anyway.

Looks like TheDragon was the first to find the characters section in the Arcade. That part of the site, as well as the shops are going to be more integrated. Smile
