| Hey guys, I bought my PSP when it first came out, and have a question. I am running the very first edition of it, 1.5 I believe it is. I have never, ever updated it. I was wondering, do you guys think I should update it to the newest version so I can get all of the latest features and content for my PSP? I have heard people say never update your PSP if it is an earlier edition, but I don't really know why, maybe it has something to do with hacking? I don't hack mine, so what are your thoughts on this? |

| You can actually lose some functionality when you upgrade because they have patched out certain methods people use to do things like install custom firmware and mods. |

they say never update your psp because then you can still use homebrew personally i think you should upgrade if you want the cool new features like web browser and newer games but if you basically use the psp because of homebrew then you shoud not (obviously) but in your case you should upgrade you are missing out unless you are pro on homebrew

dont upgrade the new features can be emulated up to version 2.71 if you have a 1.5 psp. |
