Hi, I'm trying to connect my psp to a computer running windows 2k. I have done this in the past with no problems, however no I suddenly am having problems. The computer shows in device manager>storage volume. however, it does not show in 'disk management', and also when I try to open the drive for device manager it tells me to insert a drive in drive f. The 'unplug or eject hardware' icon appears on my toolbar immediately when I plug the psp into the computer, so the computer obviously is recognizing that it is plugged in. However, I am not able to open or access the psp anywhere on my computer. please help!

If that doesn't work, plug it in, then uninstall the driver through device manager. Then unplug and replug. This will force your computer to reinstall it and should help.

thanks for the suggestions but i actually got it to work. somehow the memory card had become loose or there was a poor connection in the psp. i removed the memory card and reinserted it and it appeared in my computer. this explains why the computer recognized the device as being plugged in, but there were no volumes in 'my computer'--the computer couldn't access the memory card or wasn't seeing the memory card for some reason.
