Everyone now has a "reputation" that is based on the following factors:

Number of posts
Number of days on the forum
Points given by other users

Since we're starting from scratch it uses a default formula to determine a base reputation, then from there it will all be based on posts, days, and rep added/subtracted by other users. If you feel someone deserves a pat on the back, you can give some of your reputation points to them and write a nice comment. This will show up on their permanent reputation list. (Same goes for negative reputation points.)

Very interesting new feature. The only drawback I can see is giving out negative reputation to someone that wouldn't deserve. I don't expect to see giant wars explode over this Rolling Eyes

, I just think it would be nicer if only positive feedback was available. That way you could increase someone's reputation, or simply decide not to and leave it as is.

Nice to see new addons to the forum, that's always great.
