I know a few PSP users and I have been to a few PSP forums and I know that people have different beliefs when it comes to Homebrew & Hacks vs. Legit & Legal.

I just voted and saw that I was the sixth person to vote. I guess nobody really cares too much about this subject huh? Maybe those that would vote for homebrew and hacks are too embarrassed to speak up? Or maybe those that walk the Legal and Legit line are too scared to say so? Or maybe it's just no big deal all the way around. At any rate, it would be nice to see more people vote, it's a good poll.

Although, by law, homebrews may be considered illegal due to the fact that they are not using the official libraries and with an "approved" tag from Sony's side, I do not think that any major companies nor Sony would start a lawsuit against homebrew developpers (granted that the game would not be distributed for profit.)

That's the kicker, as long as there is not any money being made. But, Sony may decide that they could be making money and file a lawsuit for that reason. Also, there is the issue of copyright infringment......that one could be a big lawsuit....

The flip side is that it is nice to get something for free every once in a while. I wish companies would consider that more often.....
