PoPoLoCrois PSP Score: 6/10
The Controls:
The controls of this game are easy to learn standard for a role playing game.
The Graphics:
The cel-shaded graphics are decent for this type of game, similar to a super nintendo style RPG.
Game play:
Battles are now grided strategy, with you moving your party members in turn with enemies. In addition to standard attacks, magic attacks and character combination attacks, the game lets you summon beasts to help out. Dungeons also feature prominently in the game, requiring that you work through traps when not in battle. Each character has a specific weapon an they level with the character. One thing I found lacking is being able to buy different armors and weapons at first there is a couple of options then it drops off to nothing for the rest of the game except buying herbs and potions.
Multiplayer:
No option for multiplayer
Replay Value:
Its an RPG and unless its Final Fantasy 7 don't bother replaying it.
Story:
Playing as Pietro, a 10 year old prince of the Popolocrois Kingdom, you head off on your first adventure in order to find a way to awaken your mom. She was cast into a coma defending the Popolocrois Kingdom.
Bottom Line:
this is the return of the original adventures of Prince Pinon of the first and second PlayStation installments of the series, enhanced with new elements and updated details |

How does it ranks compared to other similar games such as La Pucelle, Disgaea or the two Final Fantasy Tactics?
Or is it a totally different kind of games? |

| the only one I played out of thoes you mentioned was Final Fantasy Tactics and I hated it(I like to use tactics in games but I dont like tatics games) It is like a regular RPG running around an what not with tactical tile based fighting. Thats the only time its like FFT in the fighting scenes. |

hmm good to know, I was under the impression that this game was a strategy game like Tactics. I probably read the wrong review or is mixing up two different games |
