Lumines PSP Score: 8/10

The Controls:
The controls of this game are simplistic. Similar to Tetris controls flipping an dropping your pieces.

The Graphics:
The graphics are nice, just what you would expect them to be for this type of game.

Game play:
Similar to Tetris you get wrapped up in the game as you pound level through level and before you know it your battery is dead.

Multiplayer:
I found myself enjoying this option. you and another dropping blocks faster an faster and the winning person getting more of the screen. this can turn into a pretty ugly tug of war match.

Replay Value:
I find my self always playing it over an over again.

Story:
Story? What story?

Bottom Line:
This is another Tetris game with a little bit different rules, better sound, and better graphics.

Lumines is my all time favorite PSP game. It definitely deserves to be ranked along with all the top puzzle games (like tetris and bust-a-move). The game play is a lot more unique then some other clones, and the graphics and the music just makes it so addicting.

I bought this as a launch title and haven't put it down ever since.

Tetris was so fun back in the day of my good ol'Game Gear. I will definitely check this title out. I love games like this, I can't stand playing fighting stuff all the time, just like when I watch movies, I gotta have a variety. Thanks for the review, it was great.
