yes i'm in the same boat, i just got a PSP that has FW version 3.80 i then upgraded to 3.90 via a download EBOOT.PBP file, then i did the network update on the PSP and got 3.95
but i did download the 3.80m33 along with the 3.80 official update. and i renamed the 3.80 to 380.PBP, and did everything it said this was when i was running 3.80. But i just got an error it said could not run game error 80020148.
i've given up i have the PSP 2001 or 2000 whatever it is it's the slim. I wanted to play Cave Story, and SNES, NES, emulators, i have tons of ROMS.
if anyone can help me better understand what i can do to install a homebrew firmware OS i would really appreciate it.
The only thing i read was that i need that Pandora Battery in order to downgrade, and it all sounded very tricky. without the homebrew stuff, the PSP's library isn't that great. |
