Here's a good article made by IGN as what accessories is at E3, and which are not. (as well as which shouldn't have been there.)

Overall, they seemed a little disappointed, but still interested.

I'm with you on the glass touchpad. The only reason I use other devices to browse the net is the text entry on the PSP is awful.
