| Have you gone online with your PSP? What was the experience like? I haven't tried it yet. It seems to take forever to get online with my DS. |

| I have been online with my PSP but few sites cater to it so you have to view the page in sections as for speed wize i connected just fine. |

| What about the connection speed in most online games? Would you consider it to be very fluid, or do most games lag? |

I'm on ntl and use my psp a fair bit online and it is great and reasonably fast. you do get sites that do not work on the small screen but scrolling isn't a problem. I also play outrun and that is excellent once you get in a game i think i've had one game when it lagged but other than that its good. There is a site called pspworld and they give you links to psp friendly sites. |

| I haven't yet, what do I need to do that? Until coming here, I had no idea the handheld had so much to offer. Is there are kit that will hook me up, or is it just a usb that I need? |

| I go online with my psp but it very hard for me too see. Only part of the screen shows at a time. As for speed mine is not too slow, I would compare it to dial up. I sometime check e-mail, which is nice. I am able to get online at hot spots like Starbucks.I also get all PSP update. |

Depends on if you mean gaming online or browsing. The web browser loads pretty quickly and handles site layout surprisingly well. The addition of Macromedia Flash support really helps the PSP browsing experience. Like Onyxx said there are PSP Formatted sites out there, but I don't think too many people use them (I could be wrong.)
Text entry is another story - what a pain. The main reason I use other handheld devices to surf is that text entry takes forever and is a pain.
If you mean going online for games, that's a different story. I play SOCOM Fireteam Bravo alot on PSP, and it takes very little time to find an open game and start playing. I've got broadband so the connection is silky smooth and online gameplay is a blast. |

I'll agree with that. I have SOCOM, Infected (perfect to play online), and had Twisted Metal Black and Burnout Legends. I've played all of them online, and as far as speed/lag is concerned, it has more to do with your internet connection or your opponents' internet connections as to whether you experience lag or not. Since I have a decent internet connection, I very rarely have had any problems at all when it comes to playing games online.
As far as browsing is concerned, I would not use this thing to browse unless I absolutely had to. Until they come up with some sort of text entry system that reads your mind....Ok fine. I'll settle for a usb keypad, I won't be using this thing to browse the web. Again, as far as speed is concerned, that's all up to your internet connection. The processing speed on the PSP is more than enough for something as simple as web browsing. Especially when the Operating System on the little unit is efficient. (It's a modified version of NetBSD. |

| I've only used it for browsing so far but it seems that actual gaming on it is a different thing alltogether. |

| I used it for browsing a few times but it wasn't so good. I also played GTA Liberty City Stories with a friend which was very cool. I've never used a DS, so I have no idea what that's like. |

PSP online? One of the best freeking features ever.
Here's a tip. Make your home page Google, then type ANYTHING into its search. Everything it displays you can go to. I couldn't check my hotmail until I google searched "hotmail". (I can always check my email tho, I even use the PSP to respond) Then I googled my favourite web comics, went to tools. Hit "fit to page" or whatever, and It resizes everything. I went through piles of comics on it.
Connection speed is resonable. Sometimes its really fast, sometimes its a bit slow. Depends on a few factors like interfearance and distance from router. Learned that I can sit in the back yard and shop amazon online, but cant do squat on the front steps.
Also if you're looking for a PSP usb cable, I reccomend the Mad-Catz retracto type brand. It's about 10 dollars canadian after tax, but its better quality then the crappy 6.49$ one. And the 20$ is retarded expencive. It's also easy to store, retracto technology and whatnot. |

| Taking my PSP online makes me feel so old. I remember the days when we had to blow into a cartridge so that it would play our little 2 color game boy games and we LIKED it. |
