I have the Sims2 for pc and gamecube, but not for the PSP. Does anyone have this? I am curious how the game play is, and if it is an all around good game? I want it, but I don't want to buy until I hear what other people think. I do not like the Sims2 for the gamecube, so if it is anything like that; I don't want it.

I think one of my friends got it for his girlfriend I'll play it and let you know. I have played sims 2 for the GBA an it sucks so I dont have much faith in the PSP version.

That would be great, I was hoping for more from the PSP version. EA just really screwed up the console versions of the game.

its hard to translate a game like that to a console. If you didnt like the ps2 version then dont even bother with the PSP version being as they probably took a lot from that version and left out a lot.

I played the original Sims on the PC, so even though I'm a PSP gnome I never got into the console versions. Anyone remember the "guinea pig virus" on the PC version? A downloadable add-on was released in the form of a pet guinea pig. Take care of him and he's fine, but if your Sims didn't clean his cage he would get sick and bite them. That would infect the Sim who would sneeze on other Sims, then die! The ones who were sneezed on would infect others, etc until it was an all out Sims pandemic. A lot of people got mad about it but I thought it was great, and the moral was simple: take care of your pets!

The Sims2 is the first version I played on the PC. The guinea pig virus sounds awesome, are there plans to bring something like that to the Sims2? I don't have the Sims2 for the PS2, was it bad? I just have it for the gamecube, and the PC. I think the PS2 version would have been better than the gamecube, it seems they just skimped on features. I only got the PC version because I thought it had to be better than the console.

A coworker that went to E3 last year was very impressed by Sim 2. It was shown on a big screen, which he thought "so what Sims for PS2"...and then realized that it was for PSP...just shows the power of the PSP...

Can you be more specific? What was enjoyable, and what did you like about it? |

I thought that the Sims 2 is terrible. You DONT even get to build your own house... and you have a limit to how many items you can have. The load times are insanely long as well, and is not worth buying.

I always hated the Sims. I had the original on my PC a while back. I never saw the attraction. Pure boredom. I'll be avoiding the PSP version.

heh yes, Sims is love or hate. I share the same feeling, I played it on PC and then got bored...but then again, it has been a best seller for so long, that I assume "some" people like it. |
