Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children UMD Score: 9/10

Plot
Takes place two years after the PS1 game Final Fantasy VII the citizens of the planet begin suffering from a strange sickness called Seikon-Shoukougun. Meanwhile, Cloud has secluded himself, and is being haunted by demons in his past.

Bottom Line
I bought this because I am an avid FF fan since the NES. I know the storyline of FF7 an I still got confused, other that that I got the jist of the movie though. Jaw dropping fast paced 3d animation. The fight scenes were incredible. if you get this movie no matter who you are you might be confused at the story but the animation an fights is well worth it to watch. Oh and if you dont have 2.6+ firmware dont bother getting it unless you just want it as a collectors item.

The DVD version does have the English voice version as well as the Japanese voices with English subtitles. Does the UMD version has those same features?

I was watching it at work on a friends PSP so i didnt get a chance to view the options but the Available Audio Tracks: Japanese (Dolby Digital 2.0), English (Dolby Digital 2.0). I don't know if the sub titles are on the japanese audio but I would say yes its usually standard on dubbed japanese anime.

Thinking about it...I haven't watch UMD Movies...but do any of them have close caption? I understand the reason why they would put them in, but do they end up being readable if they exist?
